Requirements: 1. Demonstrate knowledge of the firearms Control Act [Act No 60 of 2000] applicable to possessing a firearm. 2. Communication NQF Level 2. This course is aligned with Unit Standard 119650 Handle and Use a Self-Loading Rifle and is for anyone who privately uses a Self-Loading Rifle and or who requires a Competency Certificate in terms of relevant legislation. Persons credited with this unit standard are capable of handling a Self-Loading Rifle, using a Self-Loading Rifle, carrying out basic inspection and maintenance of a Self-Loading Rifle for safe use.
